Only at 4,096 is it not particularly noticeable. At the lowest setting, 64, it is still audible. It is most noticeable at the middle settings like 256 and 512. For the Audio IN Core Audio module, I have to set the block size to the highest value, 4,096 or I get this weird vibrating, flanging-like effect. And it offers 24bit options while Virtual Audio Cable topped out at 16bit.īoth of them do experience a weird behavior in Rack. Even though it hasn’t been updated in three years, it seemed happy enough on my Windows 10 box. That seems to have alleviated the freezing and crashing.īut then I uninstalled it and installed another product, VB-Cable to try it out. On a whim, today, I tried unchecking the options in the Sound Control Panel to “allow applications to take exclusive control” of both Virtual Audio Cable and my PreSonus ASIO drivers. TESTKEY program Standalone application to check your key (serial number, expiration date, Activated Licenses.) and to upgrade it with VTC file.

It wasn’t too difficult to figure out, but Rack froze and crashed copiously as I attempted to configure the Core Audio module to use it. To install VB-AUDIO Software, you need first to install Hardlock drivers HardLock Drivers for XP-WIN7 (4.9 MB - JAN 2007).

When I posted on Facebook, folks suggested a couple of other “virtual audio cables.” I tried a two yesterday and today.įirst, I tried Virtual Audio Cable from Eugene Muzychenko. I didn’t have the energy to figure it out. I tried setting it up again this time with Rack and gave up. I was never quite sure what I was doing with it. I’m on Windows, and I’ve used Jack before with Reason. Thanks in advance for your help and if I left some info out please let me know.I think I asked on the Facebook group for ideas for bringing audio from other apps, like the browser, into Rack.

I have purchased multiple VB Cables but am not sure how to config everything to be able to broadcast as well.

It was working at one time but it was not picking up the audio from DSD+ it was picking up the audio from the mic (and rebroadcasting it with the built in webserver!! lol). Whenever it received a call and it plays back all i hear is the noise which I assume is the data channel. So in Trunking Recorder config I have just a single VCO setup (the voice receiver). On the data VCO I have Audio and Digital Output set to "unspecified" and then on the 2nd Receiver (voice) the outputs are Audio: Speakers Digital:VB Cable Input. I have Unitrunker V1 setup with 2 Receivers,1 Data and 1 Voice. I thought I saw a setup post once but I could not find it again :/ - right now for some reason it is recording what i think is the data channel. I have a dual RTL dongle setup running on Windows 7 with Unitrunker and DSD+ - I have installed Trunking Recorder but am having some trouble getting the streaming to work.
